Description: This website will provide a summary and papers from a recent meeting organized by WHO on health and human rights. The aim of the meeting, held on 10 December 2002, was to assess how the trend of linking health with human rights is playing out in different parts of the world. Non Government Organizations from Nigeria, Uganda, and India reported on their experiences, Participants also discussed how to strengthen the agenda to advance health and human rights and to further integrate human rights principles into health policies and programmes.
