Description: The WHO is putting together specific tools and guides, including rights-based indicators and frameworks for rights-based situation analysis to support their Country Focus Initiative. These tools will allow health practitioners and development workers to more easily document, analyse and disseminate national experiences, identify core human rights dimensions absent from development frameworks and strengthen existing ones (such as poverty reduction strategies) from a health and human rights perspective, build capacity among relevant institutions and organizations to integrate and apply human rights norms and standards in the development and analysis of health policies and systems.
