English Teachers (part-time)

Responsibilities

Teach English language courses for beginner, pre-intermediate, intermediate and advanced levels.

Teach specially organized classes including advanced writing, public speaking and presentation.

Review and evaluate existing language materials and teaching methodologies as needed, and identify and develop new pedagogical materials, as needed.

Assign tasks/homework to students and provide feedback on their work.

Administer and correct term examination.

Qualifications

At least first university degree in applied linguistics with special emphasis on the theory and practice of teaching English as a second language to adult learners.  A minimum of three years of teaching English as a second or foreign language, preferably in work-related setting. Relevant pedagogical experience in curriculum development and teacher training an advantage. Mother tongue English. Knowledge of Thai desirable. Knowledge of other official language of the United Nations (Chinese, French, or Spanish) an advantage. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
